Riverpoint
- Riverpoint is a 15-storey commercial and residential complex constructed between 2005 and 2008, designed by BKD Architects. The commercial units were left vacant for many years due to the economic downturn between 2008 and 2014.
- This site was one of ten listed venues for the 35th edition of EVA in 2012, curated by Annie Fletcher (b. 1971, Ireland) and titled After the Future. This was the year EVA made the change to its current biennial format and took on the name EVA International.
- The 2012 edition was the first year of EVA’s biennial format. At this venue Alice Rekab (b. 1987, Ireland) presented a two-channel video installation, Worlds Combine #1 (2012). It was shown alongside an installation by José Carlos Martinat (b. 1974, Peru) titled Vandalised Monuments: Power Abstraction 4 (2012) – a work that was modelled on 12 buildings across the world that related to the financial crash.
