  • This building was originally built in the 18th century, although renovations in the early 20th century removed older architectural details.
  • This site was one of 18 venues for the 27th edition of EVA in 2003, curated by Virginia Pérez-Ratton (b. 1950, Costa Rica) and titled on the border of each other.
  • Raúl Ortega Ayala (b. 1973, Mexico) exhibited a sculptural installation titled Nocturne (2002) in the foyer of the bank. Part of a series of works titled Bureaucratic Sonata, which put a twist on corporate aesthetics, Nocturne consisted of an ornamental arrangement of coloured office paper presented on the top and drawers of an office desk.
