  • Faber Studios was an artist collective, studio and exhibition space founded by graduates of the Limerick School of Art and Design.
  • The use of the building took place through the Creative Limerick – Connect to the Grid scheme coordinated by Limerick City and County Council. This project made vacant properties in Limerick temporarily available for use by local creative organisations and individuals, in partnership with third-level colleges, creative industries and commercial property owners and their agents.
  • This site was one of 10 listed venues for the 35th edition of EVA in 2012, curated by Annie Fletcher (b. 1971, Ireland) and titled After the Future. This was the first year of EVA’s biennial format.
  • For that edition of EVA, Faber Studios presented a multi-part project entitled Re-Possession (2012). Every Wednesday, the collective held an open public workshop in which participants were invited to revalue and transform objects collected from lost-and-found departments. The public could also bring along their own objects for use in the workshop.
