Liddy Street is an extension to Henry Street, and it is named after the late Joseph P. (Rory) Liddy, who was Mayor of Limerick in 1958 and 1970.
On the corner of Liddy Street and William Street there was once a Dunnes Stores shopping centre.

Jessica Diamond is known for her wall drawings and installations. Diamond’s murals have often been characterised by a critical and humorous attitude towards popular culture symbols and consumer life.
