  • This corner-sited Georgian townhouse has had many historic uses – it has served as an office, a gallery known as Goodwin Galleries, a café, and a dental surgery.
  • It was listed as a venue in the 2nd edition of EVA in 1978, curated by Adrian Hall, Charles Harper, Theo McNab and Cóilín Murray, and was also one of 12 listed venues for the 24th edition of EVA in 2000, curated by Rosa Martínez (b. 1955, Spain) and titled Friends and Neighbours.
  • Rosa Martinez explained her title concept as one that ‘explores the multiple possibilities of conviviality between artists of different generations, various countries and diverse aesthetic positions’.
  • In 2000, when the venue was functioning as Dr Hennessy’s Dental Surgery, Maria Doyle (b. 1967, Ireland) exhibited a mixed-media drawing installation titled Drawing Frieze (1999).
